KATHMANDU: Sanjeev Manandhar, a Chartered Accountant, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Prime Commercial Bank Limited.

Manandhar was chosen as the bank’s interim chief executive officer at a board of directors meeting today, Friday.

He has been named CEO in accordance with Section 29 of the Bank and Financial Institutions Act of 2073.

According to Section 127 of the Act, the newly appointed CEO Manandhar took the oath of office and secrecy today in front of the Chair of the Board of Directors, Rajendradas Shrestha.

Addressing the swearing-in ceremony, the bank’s Chair Rajendradas Shrestha expressed his hope that the bank will progress gradually under the leadership of Manandhar, who has been associated with the bank for a long time and wished him full success in his tenure.

Manandhar, who has been working as the general manager of the bank since its inception, was previously the permanent chief executive officer of Prime Bank.

CEO Odisha Manandhar has more than 23 years of experience in the banking sector.

Chartered Accountant Manandhar, who started his banking career from the then Nepal Investment Bank Limited, has been associated with the foreign management of Rastriya Swatantra Bank.
