‘Dart gun’ was shot at the buffalo that caused terror in Buddhanagar, may have escaped while trying to kill it!

KATHMANDU: A ‘dart gun’ was used to stun a buffalo that was alarming people in Buddhanagar, Kathmandu.

The Division Forest Office crew used a ‘dart gun’ to restrain the buffalo that entered Gyan Niketan School.

According to Forest Officer Ashok Parajuli, the buffalo will be knocked unconscious after a while and then brought under control.

After the dart gun, the buffalo stands up and walks within the school grounds.

As the buffalo can inflict harm, armed and Nepal Police squads are on the lookout.

The buffalo’s right horn has been broken.

According to Baneshwar DSP Nishant Srivastava, the buffalo may have escaped while being killed.
