KATHMANDU: The Prajnaparamita (Buddhist book) that is recited every day at Hiranya Varna Mahavihar in Lalitpur is being restored and rewritten.

This work is done during the month of Malamas or Purushottam, which occurs every 3/3.

According to Hemaratna Bajracharya, who is involved in the writing process, the Mahayana school of Buddhism book comprises the principles of obtaining enlightenment and many events related to Lord Buddha.
