Expressing dissatisfaction with the name of Mulpani cricket ground, locals locked it

KATHMANDU: Expressing dissatisfaction with the naming of the Mulpani cricket ground, the local residents have locked the gate of the cricket ground.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN)decided to name the cricket pitch after the late Jayakumar Nath Shah, the association’s previous president, during a meeting on Ashar 15 (June 30).

They sealed the cricket ground’s gate to express their discontent with the name.
