KATHMANDU: Nabil Bank provides entrepreneurship development training to residents of Koshi State’s Chhathar Rural Municipality in Tehrathum district.

According to Nabil Bank, a week-long training was provided under a tripartite arrangement between the National Youth Council, Chhathar Rural Municipality, and Nabil Bank.

This training was conducted from Baisakh 10 (April 23) to Baisakh 16 (April 29).

This training is expected to benefit local youth, women, underprivileged groups, and those who aspire to become entrepreneurs.

This training is provided with the goal of contributing to long-term economic development in the country through enterprise promotion and employment creation by allowing enterprises and providing access to capital based on enterprise initiatives.

Nabil Bank has expressed its commitment to this program by carrying out social responsibility according to the Nabil sustainable banking concept.

On behalf of Nabil Bank, Top Prasad Agasti, Koshi Cluster Head, and Krishan Kumar Sah, Chhathar Branch Head, attended the function, along with the Chair of Chhathar Rural Municipality, Chief Administrative Officer, and Administrative Head of National Youth Council. The training drew 57 local entrepreneurs.

Niraj Kumar Basnet Danil, Nabil Bank’s Head of SME, Microfinance, and Sustainable Banking, stated that this training is beneficial for entrepreneurship development and financial literacy for those aspiring to be entrepreneurs, and that Nabil Bank will always support them in entrepreneurship development and self-employment promotion.
