KATHMANDU: Sher Bahadur Deuba, President of the Nepali Congress, has stated that he has built the current ruling coalition to last the entire term of the Parliament.

Deuba stated this while speaking in Parliament about Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s ‘Prachanda’ proposal for a vote of confidence.

He stated that he became Prime Minister in the previous Parliamentary term in accordance with the Supreme Court’s decision to protect the Parliament and the Constitution.

The idea that the issue of dissolution of the parliament was correct came from the UML at the start of the last parliament’s term, and the current alliance was formed for the full term and stability of the parliament, he said.

He stated that under his leadership, the Nepalese government has worked on energy development, chemical fertilizer problems, and elections at all three levels, including presidential and vice presidential elections.

He stated that he would vote in favor of Prachanda’s proposal for a vote of confidence. He also stated that he will serve in the Nepali Congress government.
