Man held for raping a minor

KATHMANDU: Lakpa Sherpa, 21, of Khijidemba Rural Municipality-8, was arrested on charge of raping a 16-year-old minor girl.

A police from District Police Office Okhaldhunga arrested Sherpa on the basis of a complaint that he raped the girl in a hotel in Siddicharan Municipality-11 Rahudanda on Monday night.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
