Govt prepares to forward bills relating to public interest, concern

KATHMANDU: The government has begun preparations to present bills addressing priority public concerns.

It was agreed today at a meeting called by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ to discuss the bills to be presented in Parliament that various bills related to public concerns will be presented in the House in order of priority.

Bills prepared on issues such as development, good governance, transitional justice, education, health, citizenship, and so on will be introduced to the House during a discussion with the political party’s representative in the Legislative Parliament.

Today, there was a discussion on the issue of the government presenting a bill for discussion in the House for the creation of laws that are directly related to public concerns and necessary for good governance and development.
