KATHMANDU: A person died after becoming trapped in his house’s main gate in Nepalgunj Sub City-10 of Banke.

Jit Bahadur Bhandari, 40, of the same Municipality-12, was hanging in the house of local Krishnaraja Gupta when his clothes became entangled in the gate rod.

DSP Ram Prasad Gharti of the District Police Office Banke stated that Bhandari died when his clothes stuck while rushing up the gate. Gharti stated that Bhandari’s behavior in the past was inappropriate. He is suspected of going to that house to steal.

There is no injury on his body, according to Chakradammar Pal, police inspector of the case branch of the District Police Office in Banke. ‘When he attempted to enter the gate, his trousers became entangled in the sharp part above the gate. ‘It appears that he died as a result of his head hanging from his trouser,’ said DSP Gharti.

He was arrested for theft seven times. Bhandari, who had been involved in theft for 27 years, continued to steal after his release. Despite being arrested and taken to the police station, he maintained in his statement that he had no relatives.
