KATHMANDU: Mahesh Prasad Yadav of the Janamat Party has won the Saptari Constituency No. 2 seat in the State Assembly (B). He won with 13,325 votes.
His closest rival, the candidate of the Democratic Left Alliance, Umesh Kumar Yadav, has secured 7,023 votes.
Laxman Yadav, a candidate for the JSP-UML alliance, is third. He secured 5,621 votes.
