KATHMANDU: Two matches in the ICC T-20 World Cup Cricket are being played today. At 10:30 a.m., West Indies and Scotland are playing their first match. The West Indies have won the World Cup twice.

However, the first round is about to begin as they were unable to advance to the first Super Eight due to recent poor performance.

Similarly, Ireland and Zimbabwe will play at 2.50 p.m. today. India and Australia are currently engaged in a friendly match. Former champions Sri Lanka were defeated by Namibia in yesterday’s match, while the UAE were defeated by the Netherlands.

This World Cup features 16 teams from Namibia, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, the West Indies, Zimbabwe, Ireland, Scotland, New Zealand, Afghanistan, England, India, Pakistan, South Africa, and Bangladesh.

Six teams have won the T20 World Cup in its seven editions to date. The West Indies have twice won the World Cup. The World Cup’s final match will take place on Nov 13.
