Army’s Khagita wins gold in high jump

POKHARA: Tribhuvan Army Club’s Khagita Sinjali Magar won gold in the high jump women’s field event at the Ninth National Games in Pokhara.

Khagita won the gold by jumping 1 meter 52 cm in the final held at Pokhara Stadium on Sunday.

Bindu Thanet of the Army won silver in the 1m 50cm jump, while Seema Shrestha of Gandaki State took bronze.

Shrestha jumped 1 meter 41 centimeters.
