KATHMANDU: This morning, eighty-two students from various schools and colleges were taken action during traffic checks in various parts of the valley.

Eighty-two students were taken action, including 51 students who did not have their documents with them, 24 students who did not obtain a driver’s license, 4 students who did not have correct number plates, 1 student who was riding a motorcycle with three people, 1 student who was driving zig-zag at high speed, and 1 student who was not wearing a helmet.

According to Awadesh Bista Chhetri, Superintendent of Police of Ramshahpath, Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, the student driver was taken action.

The traffic police have taken action against 1,165 student drivers for various offenses as part of the targeted checking campaign for the safety of school and college students, which began on August 14.
