Death of mother, daughter & son: Husband Puskar Parki arrested

KATHMANDU: Puskar Parki, the husband, was arrested in connection with the deaths of three members of the same family in Bajhang’s Bungal Municipality-9 Raru.

Geeta Parki, 22, of Bungal Municipality-9 Raru, was found dead on Wednesday, with her 5-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son hanging.

Geeta Parki’s family has filed a complaint against him for inciting suicide, according to District Police Office Bajhang Police Inspector Ramesh Awasthi. The police have now taken Puskar into custody.

Geeta, who had dinner with her husband at night, was found hanging dead with her children in the morning, according to Awasthi.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) is currently investigating the incident.
