KATHMANDU: The first match of the T20 series between Nepal and West Indies A is set to take place today.

The match is scheduled to begin at 12:15 PM on the TU Cricket Ground.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a 20-member team with Rohit Paudel as the captain.

The Nepali team includes Aasif Sheikh, Kushal Bhurtel, Anil Shah, Aarif Sheikh, Sandeep Jora, Dipendra Singh Airee, Kushal Malla, Gulshan Jha, Lalit Rajbanshi, Karan KC, Sompal Kami, Pratish GC, Avinash Bohora, Bibek Yadav, Aakash Chand, Vinod Bhandari, Sagar Dhakal, Kamal Singh Airee, and Lokesh Bam.

The West Indies A team, on their tour to Nepal, comprises Roston Chase as captain and Elmore Hutchinson as vice-captain. Other members include Fabian Allen, Kadeem Alleyne, Joshua Bishop, Casey Carty, Johnson Charles, Mark Deyal, Andre Fletcher, Matthew Ford, Obed McCoy, Gudakesh Motie, Kimani Melius, Oshane Thomas, and Hayden Walsh.

The coaching team consists of head coach Floyd Reifer, assistant coach Ryan Griffith, physiotherapist Neil Barry, strength and conditioning coach Shane Cooper, and manager and analyst Aavneesh Sitaram.

According to the public match schedule, the first match between Nepal and West Indies A will be held today, while the second match will be on April 28, the third on May 1, the fourth on May 2, and the fifth on May 4.
