KATHMANDU: The film ‘Kabaddi 4’ by Dayahang Rai will not be shown in the eastern Indian state of Sikkim.

Premsingh Tamang, Chief Minister of Sikkim, has stated that the film will not be screened throughout the state. Tamang stated that the decision to halt the protest was made with the sentiments of the citizens and various state organizations in mind.

On social media, he said, “Keeping in view the sentiments of the people of Sikkim, various organizations and organizations, the state government has decided to stop the performance of Kabaddi 4 in Sikkim until the dispute is resolved.”

Kabaddi-4 was set to be released in Sikkim on Friday. Last week, Buddhist leaders, including the All India Buddhist Forum, held a press conference and called for a ban on the film.
