Renowned author Prakat Pangeni passed away

KATHMANDU: Renowned author and lyricist Prakat Pangeni, known for his contributions to literature and music, has passed away.

Pangeni, a literary figure from Pokhara, was admitted to Manipal Teaching Hospital due to serious health issues arising from pneumonia.

Shiva passed away while undergoing treatment at Manipal Teaching Hospital on Tuesday afternoon, said his family sources.

Pageni was acclaimed for his poetry collections and well-known songs like “Tagaro Chheu Aayera Pani Aanganai Tekinau”

His cremation will take place on Wednesday afternoon, as informed by the family source.
