All domestic flights to be closed
There will be no disruptions to humanitarian, relief, or government-directed flights.
KATHMANDU: MAY. 8 – Except for essential flights, all flights will be grounded on May 13, the day of the election.
On Sunday, the Nepal Airlines Operators Association issued a notice stating that all domestic flights would be suspended on the day of the local elections.
According to a statement issued by the union’s spokesperson, Yagraj Kandel, all member companies affiliated with the union have been asked to cancel flights on the day of the election.
According to Kadel, humanitarian, relief, and government-directed flights will be filled.
