We have made a statue of boar in memory of Varaha Avatar: Chief Administrative Officer Niraula

UDAYAPUR: AUGUST 8 – A statue of boar has been constructed at a cost of Rs 6 million in the Belaka Municipality of Udayapur.

According to Hindu beliefs, the idol was made in honor of Varaha, the third incarnation of Lord Vishnu, said Arjun Niraula, chief administrative officer of the municipality.

He said that the idol of Varaha was built according to the story of Vishnu taking the incarnation of Varaha and rescuing the earth in ancient times.
