Sarbottam Cement to pay 20 percent dividend to shareholders

KATHMANDU: JUNE 24 – Sarbottam Cement has decided to pay 20 percent dividend to the shareholders. The decision was taken at a special general meeting of the company held at the company’s office Neupane Tower on Thursday.

The company has decided to pay 19.118 percent bonus share of the existing paid up capital and 1.006 percent cash dividend for tax purposes from the profits of the fiscal year 2076/77.

The general meeting will also decide to reconcile the capital ratio between the founder and the general shareholders at 87.10: 12.90.

Thus, after the change in the structure of the shares, the Sarbottam Cement will issue 6 million shares to the public through book building method.

After the issuance of shares and dividends, the authorized capital of the company will be Rs 5 billion and the issued capital will be Rs 4.65 billion.
