Two killed in Pokhara-Baglung road accident

KASKI: JUNE 21 – Two persons have been killed in a road accident on Pokhara-Baglung road. The deceased have been identified as Binod Malla, 32, of Bhuktang and another man aged 44-45, according to the District Police Office, Kaski.

According to Subash Hamal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, the tipper (State No. 3-01-003 Ka 5173) heading towards Pokhara from the Parbat and the motorcycle (Ga 20 Pa 6030) heading towards the Parbat from Pokhara collided head-on at Laxmideurali Patthardhunga on the Pokhara-Baglung road section at Annapurna Rural Municipality-3 on Sunday evening.

The injured have been brought to Pokhara for treatment and they died while undergoing treatment police said. The tipper driver Suresh Majhi, 25, of Indrawati Rural Municipality-10 in Sindhupalchowk and both the vehicles have been taken under control and the incident is being investigated, said Pranau Hamal.
