Global IME Bank issues Global E-com Dollar Card

KATHMANDU: THURSDAY, MARCH 25, 2021 – Global IME Bank Limited has issued ‘Global E-com Dollar Card’.

According to the bank, Global IME Bank Limited has issued such dollar card as per the provision of issuing convertible foreign currency prepaid card for the purpose of paying for purchase of goods and services from abroad through online.

The bank also said that the dollar card issued by the bank will enable it to purchase goods online outside India and promote its business through online social services such as Netflix recharge, payment of education fees and social media including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp.

Customers can open a bank account by submitting their citizenship and PAN card and avail this facility by paying a service fee of Rs 500, the bank said.

In addition, the card can be used to pay for goods and other online services from home and office without going to any bank.

The bank is confident that the customers have benefited by bringing such schemes keeping in view the convenience of its customers.

Global IME Bank has set up 270 branches, 242 ATMs, 256 branchless banking services, 47 extension and revenue collection counters and 3 foreign representative offices in all 7 provinces and 76 districts with the objective of providing access to banking services to all sectors and classes across the country and abroad. It is providing services to more than 2.2 million customers from about 800 service centers.
