Youth detained with 2 children in Nawalparasi (East)

KATHMANDU: Police have rescued two children and taken a suspect into custody in Eastern Nawalparasi.

On the morning of Feb 15, armed police apprehended 22-year-old B.K., a resident of Madhyabindu Municipality–14, at Pitaauji in Gaidakot Municipality–10.

The suspect was intercepted while walking from west to east with 10-year-old Shyam Thapa Chhetri and 7-year-old Hari Thapa Chhetri of Sundar Basti, Danda.

Authorities detained him on suspicion and have handed him over, along with the children, to the relevant agencies for further investigation.
