Youth-centric policies key to Nepal’s future, says RSP Acting Chair Aryal
Addressing a program organized by the party’s youth wing on Tuesday in Lalitpur, Aryal highlighted that policies should be designed with a long-term vision focused on the youth.
KATHMANDU: Dol Prasad Aryal, Acting Chair of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), stressed the importance of formulating policies that target the modern generation rather than past ones.
Addressing a program organized by the party’s youth wing on Tuesday in Lalitpur, Aryal highlighted that policies should be designed with a long-term vision focused on the youth.
“We must draft intellectual roadmaps looking ahead 50 years, keeping in mind the emerging generation rather than the older ones like myself or those before me. With federalism established and a new constitution enacted, the future of the country depends on youth-centered governance and development,” Aryal said.
He added that the youth are now an indispensable force in the political arena, underlining the need to empower upcoming generations through thoughtful policy frameworks.
Commenting on the RSP’s recent entry into the parliament, Aryal observed that the assembly has become engaging and worth following. “The parliament is currently drawing attention not only within Nepal but also among Nepalis living abroad. However, this does not mean everyone must become a member of the RSP or that the party’s ideology is the only path forward,” he clarified.
Aryal also urged individuals to join the party only when they are mentally committed, emphasizing the need for genuine dedication before entering politics.
