KATHMANDU: The U.S. Embassy in Nepal has concluded its multi-city outreach program by organizing ‘Creator Mela 2026’, a two-day flagship event aimed at strengthening Nepal’s digital creator economy.

The event was held on Magh 16 and 17 (Jan 30–31) at a hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu.

This year’s theme, “From Vision to Venture,” focused on transforming digital creativity into sustainable businesses and long-term careers.

Under this theme, the mela provided digital creators with practical guidance on how to turn creative ideas into viable enterprises.

Sessions emphasized career development, monetization strategies, and entrepreneurship within the digital ecosystem.

The program featured experts in American technology, platform monetization, and digital business development, offering insights designed to help Nepali creators expand their reach, strengthen their influence, and achieve financial sustainability.

Launched in 2023, Creator Mela has quickly emerged as a key platform in Nepal’s evolving digital landscape.

Now in its fourth edition, the initiative reflects the U.S. Embassy’s continued commitment to supporting the professionalization of Nepal’s creator economy and contributing to the country’s broader economic growt

According to the embassy, the mela plays a vital role in bringing together emerging and established creators from across the country, helping them convert skills and creativity into successful entrepreneurial ventures.
