Two members appointed to Koshi Province Public Service Commission

KATHMANDU: Koshi Province Chief Parshuram Khapung has appointed two new members to the Province Public Service Commission today.

Acting under the recommendation of a committee led by Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki and in accordance with Clause 3(2) of the Province Public Service Commission Act, 2076, Khapung appointed Rupa Thapa Ojha of Biratnagar-3, Morang, and Bhim Bahadur Subba (Fudong) of Urlabari-5, Morang, as commission members.

Following the appointment, Commission Chair Mahendra Prasad Gaurai administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed members at the Province Chief’s Office in Biratnagar under Clause 3(8) of the same Act.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Province Chief Parshuram Khapung, Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki, Speaker Ambar Bahadur Bista, Deputy Speaker Srijana Danuwar, ministers, provincial assembly members, and senior government officials.
