KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has urged the country’s political leaders to move beyond confusion and personal ambition.
Speaking at the launch of poet Dheerbahadur Shahi ‘Dokka Ghare’s’ new anthology of muktak (free-verse) titled “Jeevan Ek Vimb Anek” (Life: A Single Reflection, Multiple Facets), Thapa emphasized the need to liberate the nation from political indecision.
He said, “We must move beyond the mindset of ‘will my turn come in 2084 B.S. or not?’ Leaders should remain free from fear and greed. Even if it takes five or ten years, the inner light should never be allowed to extinguish. Ambition should not be excessive.”
