SCT, Swift launch Corporate Internet Banking in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Smart Choice Technologies Limited (SCT), a licensed payment system operator under Nepal Rastra Bank, has officially launched its Corporate Internet Banking service in collaboration with Swift Technologies.

The service targets a wide range of clients, from corporate, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), mid-corporates to large companies.

Through this platform, clients can access features such as hierarchical approval mechanisms, single and bulk transaction uploads, Maker–Checker processes, bill payments, payroll management, and fund transfers with ease.

The system offers a user-friendly interface, simple configuration menus, and customizable options tailored to business needs.

Currently, Global IME Bank Limited is the first bank in Nepal to adopt this Corporate Internet Banking service.

The bank provides this service under the brand name Biznex, which aims to deliver a seamless, secure, and efficient digital banking experience to its corporate and business clients.

Biznex enables clients to automate, expedite, and organize daily financial activities, significantly enhancing the bank’s service capabilities.

The platform also strengthens transparency, efficiency, and workflow management in financial operations, setting new benchmarks for digital banking in Nepal.

In addition to this, SCT currently issues SCT–UnionPay and VISA cards through 23 banks and financial institutions and over 100 cooperative organizations.

Beyond card services, SCT provides Smart QR, Smart Pay–IBFT (interbank fund transfer), and Smart Banking mobile banking services.

Over the past three years, SCT’s Smart Banking platform has been established as a leading Retail Omni-Channel service in the country.
