RSP has no factionalism, focused on nation building: Ganesh Parajuli
Parajuli said that although people from different political backgrounds have joined RSP, there is no possibility of internal groups or sub-groups forming.
KATHMANDU: The parliamentary party deputy leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Ganesh Parajuli, has claimed that there is no factionalism within the party, stressing that all political forces inside the party are united by a common goal of nation-building.
Speaking to journalists at the Federal Parliament premises, Parajuli said that although people from different political backgrounds have joined RSP, there is no possibility of internal groups or sub-groups forming.
He also asserted that neither the party nor the public is seeking an alternative to party president Rabi Lamichhane.
Referring to the upcoming party general convention scheduled for June 21-23, he said it will resolve all organizational responsibilities through a democratic process.
Parajuli further noted that parliamentary discussions on the budget and policy programs were conducted faster than in previous years but remained meaningful.
He also defended the government’s functioning, saying parliamentary delays should not be misinterpreted as pressure tactics, and claimed the executive and legislature are working in a “fast-track” manner.
On allegations against party leaders, he said investigations and committees are already in place, and the party fully believes in legal and procedural processes.
