KATHMANDU: Paris Saint-Germain secured a dramatic 5-4 victory over Bayern Munich in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final at Parc des Princes.

PSG responded quickly, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia equalizing in the 24th minute before João Neves headed them into the lead.
Bayern struck back through Michael Olise in the 41st minute, but PSG regained control just before halftime when Ousmane Dembélé converted a penalty after a handball by Alphonso Davies.
PSG extended their advantage early in the second half, with Kvaratskhelia and Dembélé each grabbing their second goals to make it 5-2.
Bayern mounted a late comeback as Dayot Upamecano and Díaz found the net, but it was not enough to avoid defeat.
The second leg will be played in Munich on May 6, where Bayern will look to overturn the narrow deficit.
The winner will face either Arsenal or Atlético Madrid in the final.
