Adhikari elected RSP district President with single vote margin

GANDAKI: Yadunath Adhikari has been elected district President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Kaski.

In the voting concluded on Saturday, Adhikari won the election by defeating his nearest rival, Ekraj Neupane, by a single vote.

Adhikari secured 115 votes to emerge victorious, while Neupane got 114. Out of total voters 290, voting recorded 233 turnouts.

Similarly, Chin Bahadur Gurung was elected vice-president by the convention, while Bishwaraj Paudel the secretary and Sujan Bastakoti the joint-secretary.

It is said the committee will nominate its treasurer later.
