President Paudel departs for Nepal

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Poudel departed Tokyo for home shortly after completing a four-day official visit to Japan.

Invited by the Japanese government, President Paudel, accompanied by First Lady Savita Paudel and a high-level delegation, traveled to Tokyo last Sunday to attend a special ceremony marking the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Japan.

According to the Nepali Embassy in Tokyo, the delegation was seen off at Narita International Airport by the embassy chief, Hariharakant Paudel, along with senior officials from Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
