KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, coordinator of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), has instructed party leaders and workers to actively engage in election campaigns, affirming that the upcoming parliamentary elections will be held as scheduled.
Addressing a district-level party gathering in Pokhara today, Prachanda emphasized the importance of utilizing the next three weeks to strengthen party efforts.
“With the extraordinary circumstances following the Gen Z movement, it is crucial for NCP leaders, workers, and supporters across the country to mobilize from their respective areas and secure a victory for our candidates,” he said.
Prachanda also clarified that the party has no plans to form alliances or withdraw candidacies at the final stage of the elections, urging members to remain vigilant against rumors of electoral coordination with other parties. “We aim to stand on our own feet, earn the trust of the people, and become a major party in parliament,” he added.
