The main accused, Kumar Thapa Magar, popularly known as “Nepali Bro,” was arrested on Friday night from Balaju shortly after the incident.

He was taken into custody and placed under detention at the local police office.

On the following day, police arrested three additional suspects in connection with the case.

According to District Police Range Kathmandu spokesperson SP Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, statements from all four accused are currently being recorded, and they remain under investigation.

Police sources say the victim’s family complaint named all four individuals, which led to their arrest.

Investigators also said that the main accused has allegedly confessed to the crime, while the other suspects have denied involvement during initial interrogation.
