KATHMANDU: The popular smartphone brand POCO, owned by global tech giant Xiaomi, has officially returned to the Nepali market.

POCO, which is making a comeback after 3 years by making Teletalk Private Limited its national distributor, is launching three cutting-edge smartphones: POCO X7 Pro 5G, POCO F7 5G, and POCO F8 Pro 5G.
These models include fast and agile chipsets, long-lasting batteries, and modern features. It is believed that this will bring to life the brand’s philosophy of ‘Performance First’.

The flagship model POCO F8 Pro 5G features the Qualcomm SM8750-AB Snapdragon 8 Elite processor (3NM), which has an octa-core 4.32 GHz configuration.
It has a 6.59-inch eye-Care AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
With a 6210 mAh battery with 100W fast charging support, 12 GB RAM + 512 GB ROM, and Android 16 operating system Hyper OS 3, this smartphone claims to reach the peak of excellent performance.
For sound quality, the stereo speakers support Dolby Atmos, tuned by Bose, and Hi-Res Audio.
The camera has a triple setup of wide, telephoto, and ultrawide lenses, enabling versatile photography. It features an IP68 rating, which provides protection against water and dust. The phone is available in Titanium Silver, Blue, and Black colors.
The POCO X7 Pro 5G has a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset (4NM), which has an octa-core 3.25 GHz processor.
It has a 6.67-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display (120 Hz refresh rate) along with a 6000 mAh battery and 90W HyperCharge feature.
Based on Android 15 and Hyper OS 2, this phone comes with 12 GB RAM + 512 GB ROM.
Along with stereo speakers and Hi-Res audio support, the camera features a dual setup of wide and ultrawide lenses. It is available in black, green, and yellow colors. It also has an IP68 rating, providing protection against water and dust.
Similarly, the POCO F7 5G features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (SM8735) processor built on 4NM technology, which has a 3.21 GHz octa-core configuration.
It features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED ultra-bright display (120 Hz) along with a 6500 mAh battery, 90W wired charging, and 22.5W reverse wired charging features.
Based on Android 15, this phone comes with 12 GB RAM + 512 GB ROM.
The camera has wide and ultrawide lenses along with stereo speakers. Available in silver, this model also features an IP68 rating, providing protection against water and dust.
All three models feature single selfie cameras on the front, providing high-quality selfies and video calling.
The company expects that the partnership with Teletalk Private will make POCO’s smartphones easily available in markets across the country and provide reliable after-sales service.
The company has set the market price of POCO X7 Pro at Rs. 55,999. Similarly, the price of POCO F7 is Rs. 69,999, and POCO F8 Pro is Rs. 99,999. Keeping consumers’ interests in mind, POCO has also provided EMI facilities for up to 9 months, along with a 1-year brand warranty on all models.
These new POCO smartphones are available at Teletalk’s official showrooms and outlets.
