PM Oli visits Living Goddess Kumari (photos)

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Monday visited the historic Basantapur area in Kathmandu to pay his respects to the Living Goddess, Kumari Devi.

During the visit, Prime Minister Oli was accompanied by his wife and First Lady, Radhika Shakya, who also took the opportunity to offer her prayers to the revered deity.

The Kumari, regarded as a symbol of divine grace and power, is worshipped by many in Nepal.
