PM Oli embarks on first official visit to Thailand for BIMSTEC Summit (photos)

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has departed for Thailand to participate in an official visit and the 6th BIMSTEC Summit.
PM Oli is visiting Thailand at the friendly invitation of Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha.
He is the first Prime Minister of Nepal to undertake an official visit to Thailand.
During his visit, PM Oli will engage in discussions to strengthen bilateral ties and participate in the BIMSTEC Summit, which aims to enhance cooperation among member countries.
He is scheduled to return to Nepal on 23rd Chaitra.
This visit marks a significant step in Nepal’s diplomatic relations with Thailand and the broader BIMSTEC region.
