PM Oli calls Security Council meeting

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has convened a Security Council meeting following widespread Gen Z protests that have spiraled out of control in Kathmandu and other major cities across the country.

According to sources from the Security Council Secretariat, the meeting is expected to commence shortly.

A cabinet meeting is also scheduled to be held today.
