KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has reached in Taplejung today to review preparations for the upcoming House of Representatives elections, including arrangements for peace and security, as well as ongoing local activities.

This morning, she performed a ceremonial worship at the Pathibhara Mata Temple.

Following the rituals, she posted on social media: “Falgun month, election month. Starting from Pathibhara. Wishing for a peaceful election.”

During her visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to meet with the heads of local security agencies, the Chief Election Officer, and other officials involved in the election process.
