Pashupati Shumsher Rana calls for united push to win more seats in next election
Addressing a unification assembly following the merger between RPP and RPP Nepal, Rana said that the courage to face the next election is the party’s greatest strength.
KATHMANDU: Former Chair of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Pashupati Shumsher Rana, has stressed the need for the party to fully focus on the upcoming elections with the clear goal of winning as many seats as possible.
Addressing a unification assembly following the merger between RPP and RPP Nepal, Rana said that the courage to face the next election is the party’s greatest strength.
He called on all leaders and cadres to work together in unity to secure a meaningful victory.
Rana emphasized that efforts must be made at every level—from municipalities and rural municipalities to districts and constituencies.
However, he added that special focus should be given to constituencies where the party has strong prospects of victory.
“Facing the next election with confidence is our biggest asset. We must all work together,” Rana said, welcoming Kamal Thapa into the unified party. “If we unite, we can achieve significant victories. Our efforts must reach every municipality, rural municipality, district, and constituency, but we should prioritize areas where our chances of winning are strong.”
The former RPP chair also urged all party leaders to concentrate their energies on election preparation, saying unity and strategic focus would be key to success in the coming polls.
