KATHMANDU: The 2014 World Cup Legends emerged victorious in the Extratech Legends T-10 Cup cricket tournament held in Tilottama, securing the title by defeating Rest of Nepal by 17 runs in the final.

In pursuit of a challenging target of 102 runs set by the 2014 team at the newly constructed Extratech Oval cricket ground, the Rest of Nepal team could only manage to score 84 runs, losing 9 wickets in 10 overs.
The tournament featured teams like Legends 96, representing the World Cup 2014 participants, Rest of Nepal, and Rupandehi Legends.
It harked back to Nepal’s early days in international cricket, starting with their entry into the first ACC trophy in Malaysia in 1996.
