Over 16,000 tourists visit Manang in first four months of FY

KATHMANDU: Manang sees 16,296 tourists in the first four months of the current fiscal year, according to Dhak Bahadur Bhujel, Chief of the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) Regional Conservation Office.

Tourists from 107 countries visited the region during this period. Among them, 812 men and 177 women were from SAARC nations, while 9,695 men and 6,601 women came from other countries.

Israel topped the list with 1,910 visitors, followed by France with 1,392 and Germany with 1,208 tourists.
