KATHMANDU: The second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) will have no matches today, as organizers have scheduled a rest day for ground maintenance after the completion of the league phase.

Tomorrow, the first qualifier will take place at the Tribhuvan International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur at 4 PM, featuring Sudurpaschim Royals and Biratnagar Kings.

Sudurpaschim Royals secured the top spot in the points table, while Biratnagar Kings finished second, guaranteeing their place in the first qualifier.

Sudurpaschim won six out of seven league matches, with their only loss coming against Biratnagar, who themselves were defeated by Chitwan and Lumbini during the league stage.
