NEPSE gains double-digit points amid broad-based market rally

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a double-digit rise today, with the NEPSE index climbing 12.17 points to settle at 2,607.42.

A total of 312 companies saw 9,218,810 shares traded across 42,879 transactions, amounting to a turnover of Rs 4.68 billion

All sectoral sub-indices posted gains except for the Hotel & Tourism and Mutual Fund groups.

Based on both trading volume and value, Union Hydropower Limited led the market with 710,259 shares changing hands, totaling Rs 386.15 million.
