Nepal’s reports 1,562 fresh COVID-19 cases, 19 more deaths

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 14 – Another 1,562 people were confirmed to have coronavirus infection in Nepal on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry of Health, coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 382 people out of 10,266 PCR tests, 1,180 and 4,177 antigen tests across the country. At the same time, the number of coronavirus infections in Nepal has reached 866,905.

Another 19 more deaths have been reported, bringing the death toll to 10,984 in Nepal.

Meanwhile, 1,589 patients have been released after recovery, bringing the total number of cured and discharged to 742,306.

At present, there are 26,202 active infected isolation and 262 quarantined people in Nepal, according to the ministry.
