Nepal AgriTech Int’l Expo to take place in Bharatpur

Following the success of previous editions, this year’s exhibition will host over 100 stalls featuring agricultural companies from Nepal, India, China, and other countries.

KATHMANDU: To modernize agriculture and promote innovative technologies, Media Space Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Futurex Trade Fairs & Events Pvt. Ltd. are set to organize the grand international agricultural exhibition, “Nepal AgriTech International Expo 2082”, from Magh 2 to 4 at the Chitwan Exhibition Center in Bharatpur.

Following the success of previous editions, this year’s exhibition will host over 100 stalls featuring agricultural companies from Nepal, India, China, and other countries.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore various sectors of agriculture, including poultry, fisheries, goat and cattle farming, dairy businesses, agricultural tools and equipment, veterinary services, food technology, pesticides, fertilizers, seeds, agricultural training, and financial services.

The exhibition is expected to attract entrepreneurs, researchers, students, institutional representatives, and farmers, offering them a platform to learn about modern technologies, exchange knowledge, and satisfy their curiosity about the latest innovations in agriculture.

Organizers note that limited stalls are still available, and bookings are proceeding rapidly. Free entry will be provided for all visitors.

The event will feature demonstrations ranging from small farming tools to large-scale dairy machinery and equipment used in livestock and poultry farming, helping advance the mechanization of Nepal’s agricultural sector.

The expo aims to help identify innovative technologies and services suitable for Nepal’s agriculture, ultimately boosting agricultural productivity and contributing to the country’s self-reliance in agricultural production.

In a collaborative effort, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development and the National Agricultural Modernization Program are leading the promotion of the event. Supporting organizations include the National Dairy Development Board, Nepal Agricultural Cooperative Central Federation Ltd., National Farmers’ Group Federation–Nepal, National Federation of Rural Municipalities–Nepal, Nepal Poultry Association, Mushroom Producers Farmers’ Association–Nepal, and Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
