Minister Bablu Gupta not invited to US: NRNA

KATHMANDU: Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) America has clarified that rumors claiming the invitation of Nepal’s Minister for Youth and Sports, Bablu Gupta, to the United States are completely baseless.
The association expressed serious concern over attempts to misuse its name and digital platforms for heinous crimes, including human trafficking.
In a statement released Friday, NRNA America confirmed that no youth-targeted programs have been organized for Minister Gupta or any other individual.
The organization alleged that some groups have been conducting unauthorized activities using NRNA America’s name, website, and digital identity without official approval.
The statement read, “We have received credible information that unauthorized programs under NRNA America’s name are being used to carry out illegal activities, including human trafficking. We remain vigilant against actions that could damage the reputation of our legally registered organization in the U.S.”
The association warned that any suspicious activity falsely linked to its name could lead to severe legal and financial consequences.
NRNA America urged the public to remain alert against such misleading information and only trust announcements issued through its official channels.
