Meeting of HoR & NA today

KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives is scheduled to meet at 11:00 AM today, where discussions on the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill for the upcoming fiscal year—excluding tax proposals—are expected to continue.

The debate on the proposal began on Monday. During last week’s session, Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle presented the budget principles and priorities before the House on May 14.

Following the completion of the ongoing discussion, the Finance Minister is expected to respond to lawmakers’ queries during Wednesday’s sitting.

Meanwhile, the National Assembly is also set to convene today at 1:15 PM, continuing its regular parliamentary agenda.
