KATHMANDU: Dominic Solanke scored twice as Tottenham Hotspur staged an impressive comeback to secure a 2–2 draw against Manchester City in the Premier League.

Tottenham, who trailed by two goals, showed strong character to fight back and share the points.

Manchester City had taken firm control in the first half after goals from Ryan Cherki in the 11th minute and Antoine Semenyo in the 44th minute gave the visitors a 2–0 lead at the break.

City dominated proceedings in the first half, but Tottenham responded quickly after the restart. Just eight minutes into the second half, Solanke pulled one back to bring Spurs back into the contest.

The equaliser came in the 70th minute when Solanke brilliantly converted Conor Gallagher’s cross with an unconventional back-heel finish to make it 2–2.

Both sides pushed for a late winner, but no further goals were scored.

City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma produced a crucial save to deny Xavi Simons late in the match, ensuring City avoided defeat.

With the draw, Tottenham moved up to 14th place in the league standings. Manchester City remain second but are now six points behind league leaders Arsenal.

Sesko’s Late Winner Lifts Manchester United Past Fulham

Substitute Benjamin Sesko struck in the fourth minute of stoppage time as Manchester United edged Fulham 3–2 in a dramatic Premier League encounter.

United had taken a 2–0 lead before Fulham mounted a strong comeback, only to fall short in the closing moments.

Casemiro opened the scoring in the 19th minute, heading in from close range after a Bruno Fernandes free-kick.

Early in the second half, Matheus Cunha doubled United’s advantage after receiving a pass from Casemiro.

However, Fulham responded late in the game. Raul Jimenez converted a penalty in the 85th minute, and Kevin equalised in the first minute of injury time to make it 2–2.

Just three minutes later, Bruno Fernandes provided a precise pass which Sesko controlled calmly before scoring the decisive goal.

The victory marks Manchester United’s third consecutive win under head coach Michael Carrick, lifting them to fourth place with 41 points. Fulham slipped to eighth.
