Madhesh Province govt provides vehicles to security agencies
According to Provincial Secretary Bimal Prasad Baral, the Madhesh Province Police Office in Janakpurdham received one pickup vehicle and 21 motorcycles.
KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home, Communications, and Law of Madhesh Province has handed over vehicles to security agencies across the province to support their operations.
Speaking at the event in Janakpurdham, Minister Rajkumar Lekhi emphasized that security personnel working round-the-clock for the peace, security, and law-and-order of the country and its citizens should not face shortages of resources or equipment.
The ministry has provided a total of 26 vehicles, including four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles, to the offices of Nepal Police and the National Investigation Department in various districts of the province.
According to Provincial Secretary Bimal Prasad Baral, the Madhesh Province Police Office in Janakpurdham received one pickup vehicle and 21 motorcycles.
Similarly, the National Investigation Offices in Saptari and Rautahat were each given one pickup vehicle, while the offices in Mahottari and Dhanusha received one electric vehicle each.
Minister Lekhi further stated that within a few days, all eight district police offices and ‘A’ category area police offices across the province will also receive one four-wheeled vehicle each.
